Freshness Guarantee
At Olive & Honey our goal is to provide the freshest flowers with maximum vase life for maximum enjoyment. Stem longevity is variable based on the varieties of stems – for example, tulips perish in days while carnations look amazing for weeks. Regardless of the variety, stem longevity is also greatly affected by the quality of care.
To ensure the maximum life of your order, follow the below care recommendations:
- Fresh Flowers
- Keep away from direct sunlight, candles, vents that produce heat and drafts that dry flowers out
- Keep away from fruits as they emit a natural gas, ethylene, that ages flower blooms. This is why it is not recommended to put flowers in a refrigerator that holds produce.
- Give the bottom of stems a fresh cut, at a 45 degree angle, every few days
- Change out the water every few days
- Remove any foliage that is below waterline
- Remove stems as the blooms perish.
- Plants
- Each variety of plant will require unique light and water requirements – google it so you know what it likes best.
- Once you establish placement that will provide it’s required light – don’t move it, but turn it regularly so that it grows evenly.
- When watering, ensure plant is not sitting in standing water. If plant is still in nursery pot with drainage holes, best practice is to remove it from decorative pot, place in sink and water so that it may drain thoroughly before returning to decorative pot.
- Consider purchasing a moisture probe so that you can accurately test the moisture levels inside the root ball.
Generally, we expect fresh flowers to last 5-10+ days, with proper care. As we are not able to ensure high quality of care once orders leave our shop, we guarantee your arrangement to be as fresh as you received it for 24 hours after delivery or pick up. If stems perish within the first 24 hour, please contact us so that we can make it right. Proof of stem condition and information on care must be provided at time of contact.
Refund & Returns Policy
Refunds
We offer refunds under the following conditions:
- If your item(s) is damaged or defective upon delivery, we will offer a replacement in the form of an exchange, or a refund. We must be notified within 24 hours of delivery and proof of damage or defect must be provided at time of notification.
- If your order is not filled as ordered or delivered as scheduled due to an error on our part, we will offer an upgraded order redelivery at no additional cost, or a refund.
Non-Refundable Items:
- Natural variations in floral arrangements per Substitution Policy.
- Situations where flowers have been left at door per Delivery Policy.
- Incorrect delivery information provided by the customer.
- Fresh flower and plant orders after 24 hours.
- Orders cancelled less than 48 hours before delivery or pickup.

Returns
We offer returns under the following conditions:
- Due to the perishable nature of flowers, plants & candy, we do not accept returns for those categories of items.
- For non-perishable items, they must be unused and in their original condition. Returns must be initiated within 7 days of purchase, otherwise store-credit will be issued.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to a defect or error on our part.
Cancellation Policy
We accept cancellations under the following conditions:
- Orders can be canceled for a full refund if the cancellation is made at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery or pickup time.
- Orders canceled less than 48 hours before delivery or pickup may not be eligible for a refund, but some orders may be eligible for store credit.
Payment Terms
We accept major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
To help offset card processing costs, a 4% non-cash service fee is applied to credit and debit card purchases. This fee will be clearly displayed at checkout before your order is finalized.
This fee does not apply to cash or alternative payment methods when available.
