Meredith & Brady’s Bridgerton-Inspired Garden Wedding

Designed for a late spring / early summer celebration, Meredith and Brady’s wedding was inspired by the romance, abundance, and slightly untamed beauty of a Bridgerton garden. Their vision was full of rainbow pastels, unexpected color combinations, and flowers that felt gathered straight from the garden, but just a little more elevated.

With blooms in abundance and a wide variety of stems, every floral moment was designed to feel lush, joyful, and completely unforgettable.

A Rainbow Pastel Color Story

Meredith and Brady leaned into a soft but colorful palette filled with coral, peach, blush, butter yellow, lavender, light blue, green, and little touches of purple and orange. The result was playful, romantic, and full of movement giving us proof that pastel does not have to mean subtle.

Their late spring wedding fell during peak local flower season, allowing us to create an abundant, garden-inspired look while making the most of the floral budget. Peonies, garden roses, poppies, ranunculus, foxglove, and delphinium brought the soft, layered feeling of a garden in full bloom.

A Grand Floral Welcome at St. Columban Catholic Church

Because the ceremony took place at St. Columban Catholic Church in Chillicothe, Missouri, we wanted to respect the space and keep the florals inside limited. Instead, the couple chose to create their big floral moment before guests even stepped through the doors.

We installed a full-coverage fresh floral garland around the perimeter of the grand, 15-foot arch doors at the chapel entrance. Overflowing with fresh blooms and layered greenery, the installation greeting guests with a garden-inspired welcome.

We also flanked the doors with overflowing urn arrangements, creating an extra layer of color and abundance around the entrance. After the ceremony, those were repurposed at the reception allowing the designs to continue telling the same floral story throughout the entire day.

Ceremony and Reception Details

The goal for Meredith and Brady’s florals was simple: make it feel like there were blooms everywhere. Their designs were filled with many stems, a wide variety of textures, and those slightly unconventional combinations that make a wedding feel personal.

Airy stems like feverfew, cottage yarrow, penny cress, plumosa fern, and green hanging amaranthus kept everything feeling loose, garden-inspired, and full of movement. The mix created designs that felt abundant without feeling overly polished… just the right balance for a romantic celebration.
